We haven't done this in a while! :) In fact, based on this blog, it's been exactly a year since we last went on a movie marathon. It was great fun to do again with my best friend and favorite date. :)
We started with Invasion at Trinoma which was pretty exciting.
Not great but not too bad either. Nicole Kidman is really a very convincing actress especially when she has to be scared and running around- which she does 60% of the time in order not to fall asleep and fully transform into an alien. And of course there's Daniel Craig too, whom Noel and I both love. They had pretty good chemistry on screen.
Then we headed to Gateway Mall in Cubao to catch Waitress starring Keri Russell of Felicity fame. (I think it's just showing in Gateway)
She was very good in this movie as a small town girl working as a waitress baking very scrumptious looking pies. It's very well written and had us giggling and me crying buckets in some parts too. It reminded me of good friends Gretch and Jay. Try to catch it guys and you'll know why! It's a great movie!!!! My eyes are still small from crying.
